Product Manager
Mid-Senior
Overview

We are a digital product studio founded in Los Angeles. We are a fully remote team of passionate product designers, product managers, developers, and analysts. We solve business problems with data-driven decisions, impact-first designs, and elegant technology solutions.

We’re currently a lean team of 15 people looking for a Product Manager to join the fold.

All our work is grounded in our three pillars: 1) data-driven decisions, 2) impact-first designs, and 3) elegant technology solutions.

We’ve been working with leading e-commerce brands since 2019 to level up their digital experience and create seismic growth for their business. Check out some of our work by visiting Our Place, Olipop, and MUD\WTR.

What you’ll do —

Product managers are responsible for overseeing a multitude of digital product initiatives across our client portfolio. Here are some of the things you’ll be working on day-to-day:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients.
  • Lead new client onboardings and discovery work.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives and customer needs and create a digital product strategy to meet them.
  • Create, maintain, and drive the overall product roadmap for your clients, including defining priority among competing initiatives, assessing the level of effort to design and build, and identifying the key phases, decision points, and milestones required to deliver on each initiative.
  • Lead the delivery of product initiatives from end to end, starting from ideation and strategy through design, technical requirements, launch, measuring success, and identifying future iteration opportunities.
  • Plan weekly resources across data, design, and development and work with the Ops team to develop monthly capacity plans.
  • Collaborate closely with the team throughout the design process, leading review sessions and providing actionable feedback to designers that aligns with client goals.
  • Conduct thorough QA testing to identify bugs, ensure usability, and verify that all deliverables meet project requirements before release.
  • Support ad-hoc needs, including CMS content population in Shopify and research projects.

What we’re looking for —

We’re a small-but-nimble team and will expect the person hired for this role to hit the ground running. We think someone with 3-6 years of product management experience at an in-house brand or agency will be most successful in this role. We are open to considering mid-level and senior product managers.

Does this sound like you?

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • Bring extensive e-commerce experience, particularly with Shopify.
  • Have an affinity for the fast-paced environment of agencies, a sense of humor, and a get-it-done personality
  • Understand how to transform business inputs into a clear and thoughtful digital product strategy.
  • Take an analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving and prioritization.
  • Have strong technical acumen and the ability to translate designs into technical requirements.
  • Are comfortable defining metrics for success and reporting on them.
  • Have experience shipping substantial products and overseeing the entire product lifecycle.
  • Can tell a persuasive story and convey information in a digestible format.
  • Have experience balancing the needs of the team with the needs of clients through diplomacy, prioritization, and strong emotional intelligence.
  • Have strong project management skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Excel in both verbal and written communication.
  • Have a strong understanding of design aesthetics and principles.
  • Are experienced in planning and executing A/B tests.
  • Navigate and manage ambiguity and complexity with confidence.
  • Can push back on scope and timelines tactfully and with empathy.
  • Have strong opinions but are open to changing your mind based on new information.
  • Lead with empathy and know how to work with all kinds of people.
